Here's the break down:
- Recipe lookup (2 hours minimum)
- Grocery shopping (2 hours minimum)--getting to the supermarket, finding veggies, meat, spices, seasoning, coming home with grocery
- Washing and chopping (2hours)
- Marinating (1/2 hour)
- Cooking (2 hours)
- Washing dishes (1 hour)
- Cooling food and placing in fridge (1/2 hour)
Total: 10 hours!!!
This NYT article summarizes my ordeal:

So here's some solution to my dilemma:
1) Blue Apron--all the ingredients and recipes (reduce my cooking time by 4 hours)
